From a Conversation to a Global Vision.
Afro Village House began with a simple but powerful question:
"How can a global moment in Los Angeles create lasting opportunities for Africa and the global African diaspora — beyond sport itself?"
As Los Angeles prepared to welcome the world in Summer 2028, community leaders, athletes, entrepreneurs, cultural advocates, and innovators recognized an extraordinary opportunity. Global attention would converge on Los Angeles — but no dedicated platform existed to unite African nations, the African diaspora, global business leaders, creators, innovators, and investors in one shared space.
Inspired by successful international hospitality activations from previous global moments — including Africa's celebrated presence through initiatives such as Station Afrique during Paris 2024 — Afro Village House was envisioned as something much bigger. Not simply a venue. Not simply an event. A platform.
A platform where culture becomes a bridge. Where athletes become ambassadors. Where creators become storytellers. Where startups become companies. Where ideas become investments. And where communities become partners in shaping the future.
Today, Afro Village House is being developed through the Afro Village Consortium in partnership with sports innovators, cultural organizations, economic development leaders, educational institutions, creators, and global stakeholders committed to building a lasting legacy.
Our Vision
To build a global platform where sport, culture, innovation, entrepreneurship, and human connection converge to unlock opportunity between Africa, the African diaspora, and the global community — creating enduring pathways for investment, storytelling, education, innovation, and shared prosperity.
Our Mission
To create transformative experiences that connect people, nations, ideas, and opportunities through the universal power of sport and culture — building platforms that inspire human connection, accelerate innovation, and leave lasting legacies for future generations.
"The relationships, businesses, investments, stories, and opportunities created through Afro Village House can last generations. That is the legacy we are building."
